A end of the year webinar on the reform of COP.

In the recent movie “Leave the world behind” (starring Julia Roberts and Mahershala Ali and co-produced by Barack and Michelle Obama), mankind (or, at least, America) is overwhelmed by a progressive technological breakdown led by some intelligent computer. However, the crisis seems to have its roots not much in the rise of artificial intelligence, but into the mistrust that humans have in their own capabilities.

While we are all heading towards families (and ski slopes wherever ski is still available), we hope you can join us for a digital wrap up of 2023 with a one hour discussion around one of the main topics that will be addressed by the next Dolomite Conference in 2024 (link to the 2023 edition).

We, at Vision Think Tank, are organizing a one-hour webinar on 29th December 2023 (from 5 to 6pm). It will start from Vision's preliminary assessment of COP28's impact and our paper with three (humble) ideas to kick start a debate on how to reform COPs and the global governance of climate change.

Vision’s attempt and projects for 2024 are exactly about developing global platforms that can nurture again trust, ideas, space for redesign institutions that were conceived for a totally different century.

The webinar will be hosted and introduced by Vision Think Tank, with the participation of Jan Piotrowski from The Economist and our chairs from the Dolomite Conference, Alexandra Borchardt, Barbara Kolm, Cliff Prior and Rohinton Medhora, together with other panelists. It will be an occasion to also launch Vision's upcoming projects for 2024.
