Vision's organizational model is no less innovative than the projects and results it proposes.
Unlike traditional research centers, Vision has a small team and a dedicated board around which many more researchers, professionals and managers move.
The Visionaries work in different sectors (media, universities, multinationals, governments), live in different cities (London, Paris, Brussels and in the main Italian cities) and come from different academic fields (economics, political science, computer science, genetics, physics, history).
Each of them brings to the Vision team the richness of their different points of view starting from the absolute conviction that the problems of modernity (from climate change to pandemics, from migration to financial crises) are all complex and require the approach of approaches and languages that specialization has fragmented.
Vision for them is a platform to bring together skills and develop collective projects and intelligence.
Francesco Grillo
Francesco Grillo graduated with laude in Economics at LUISS University (ROME), before getting an MBA from Boston University as a Fulbright Scholar. He also holds a Ph.D. in Political Economy from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
He is Visiting Fellow at the European University Institute in Fiesole, Affiliate Professor at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna of Pisa and teaches at the summer school of University of International Business Economics in Beijing. He has been visiting fellow at the Oxford Internet Institute and at St. Antony's College (University of Oxford).
He is advisor on urban policies to Italy’s Minister of Infrastructure and he has been advisor to Italy’s Minister of Education, Universities and Research.
He started his career at McKinsey, the management consulting firm, where he worked in the financial institutions practice, before joining Vision and Value, the strategy consulting boutique. As Managing Director, he advises major institutions (including the European Commission and Italian Ministry of Economy) and multinationals.
He is also Director of the think tank Vision which convenes two yearly major conferences on the future of Europe (in Siena) and on global governance of climate change (in the Dolomite area).
His professional and research interests are around how the Internet is changing industries and political systems. Francesco is also columnist for Il Messaggero, Corriere della Sera, Linkiesta, and The Guardian.
He is often interviewed by international media like The Economist and he is a regular guest on La7, SkyTG24 and RaiNews24. He is author of Innovation, Democracy and Efficiency, 2015 with Palgrave (http://www.palgrave.com/gb/book/9781137449658), Il Ritorno della Rete, 2001, ed. Fazi, on the impact of ICT on health care systems, La Macchina che cambiò il Mondo, 2002, ed. He is a Philosophiae Doctor at the at The London School of Economics where he conducted a thesis on the effectiveness of public investments in R&D. He got a Laurea cum Laude in Economia from LUISS University in Rome and an MBA with High Honors from Boston University, MA where he studied as a Fulbright Scholar. He wrote a number of scientific articles on methodologies for universities evaluation and rankings, regional innovation strategies and smart specialization, distributed information systems and monitoring of public policies.
Francesco's analyses have been quoted by international media like The Economist, he has been interviewed by BBC and he is currently columnist on Corriere della Sera and Il Messaggero. He has also written for all other major Italian newspapers including Il Sole 24 Ore, La Repubblica.
Previously at Bank of Tokyo - London as a Head of Italian Desk, he has been Associate with McKinsey. The "McKinsey Mind" introduces Francesco as a success case of application of McKinsey problem solving methodologies to public sector and political questions.
He was among the founding members of the Lisbon Council for competitiveness and he is a member of the Association of the Italian Management Consulting Firms and, in this capacity, a member of the Italian Association of Young Entrepreneurs. He has been board member of a number of NGOS including the Agency that is working to promote legality and sustainable development in areas near his birth city Naples.
He run the Berlin Marathon in less than 3 hour and a quarter, he likes to ski and play tennis and he is a fan of Juventus but his real passion is his daughter Chiara.
Silvia Scarafoni
Silvia Scarafoni earned a degree in Environmental and Sustainability Economics from the University of Siena and a Master’s in Green Economy & Sustainability Management, which equipped her with tools to understand sustainability from an integrated perspective, considering environmental, social, and economic dimensions. After her studies, she completed an internship at the European Parliament with the Greens/EFA group, where she focused on legislative monitoring and vote analysis, deepening her knowledge of European institutions and legislative dynamics.
Dario Dell'Otti
Dario Dell’Otti holds a degree in International Relations from the University of Milan. He gained academic experience in France, in Lyon and Biarritz, where he was responsible for organizing conferences on the UN Sustainable Development Goals. He currently works as a Public Policy Evaluator at Vision and Value and as a Research Analyst at Vision Think Tank.
Antonio Tummolo
Antonio Tummolo holds a master’s degree in International Relations from LUISS University in Rome and has gained international academic experience at the University of Edinburgh and the Higher School of Economics in Moscow. He previously worked at the Italian Embassy in Brussels, where he focused on Italian–Belgian bilateral relations and EU affairs, and at the Foreign Network Department of the Italian Trade Agency, specializing in foreign market analysis and export promotion. He is currently a Policy and Business Analyst at Vision & Value.
Gabriele dell'Anno
Gabriele Dell’Anno holds a double master’s degree in international relations from LUISS Guido Carli University (Rome) and in European Studies from Paris Lodron University of Salzburg. During his studies, he gained international academic experience through an Erasmus program in Morocco and the double degree in Austria. He also completed an internship at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He is currently a Policy Advisor and Consultant at Vision & Value.
Valerio Rosa
Valerio Rosa graduated in International Relations at LUISS University (Rome). He had different international experiences in studies and work. Being enrolled in the master’s degree he spent a semester abroad in Moscow at MGIMO University and worked for the Italian Embassy in Baku. He also worked as an intern at the International Research and Archive Institute of Disarmament (IRIAD) in Rome.
He is currently a Policy Advisor for Vision & Value and a researcher for Vision Think Tank.
Chiara Mezzogori
Chiara Mezzogori graduated cum laude in Global Management & Politics at LUISS Guido Carli University, an interdisciplinary academic pathway with a particular focus in the field of corporate, public & institutional affairs.
Previously at the Ministry of Culture supporting the Diplomatic Advisor to the Minister's Office and after at TIM as Investor Relations Analyst deepening the understanding of the financial community.
She is currently as Policy Advisor and Consultant at Vision and Value.
Jing Wang
Jing Wang is currently an intern at Vision & Value. She is currently a 2nd year MSc student at Bocconi University and Politecnico di Milano in the Transformative Sustainability program. She is Chinese, graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen in 2023 with a BBA in Finance. She spent one semester in EDHEC Business School in Lille, France.
Ramin Talebi
Ramin Talebi, who holds a Master's degree in Urban Planning and Policy Design from Politecnico University in Milan, is genuinely passionate about supporting the growth of sustainable and inclusive communities. With a foundational understanding of management and policy-making, he approaches urban development with a humble perspective, aiming to contribute positively wherever possible. Ramin values collaboration and thoughtful engagement in his work, striving to make a modest yet meaningful impact in the field of urban planning.
Greta Aurora Zottoli
Greta Aurora Zottoli holds a distinguished academic background in International Relations, where she earned her Master’s degree with honors from LUISS Guido Carli. Prior to her current position, Greta honed her skills at the Consulate General of Italy in Miami, where she played a key role in monitoring and enhancing bilateral relations. Additionally, she worked as a translator for the GROW Think Tank and collaborated with Women in Leadership Europe. She is currently a Policy Advisor for Vision & Value and a researcher for Vision Think Tank.
Chiara Grillo
Chiara Grillo is a driven and inquisitive person who is committed to comprehending the intricacies of the world. She is presently pursuing a degree in Economics and Management at LUISS Guido Carli.She is currently expanding her academic horizons by participating in a semester exchange at Insper University in Brazil, where she is gaining valuable international experience. She has also broadened her international experience by attending a summer school at UIBE University in China. Her practical skills were honed during an internship at Vision and Value, where she developed a foundation in economic strategies. As an associate of VISION, ITALY’s leading think tank on AI, Europe of the Future and Climate change, she is further developing the study on the “paradox of agrifood”.
Clara Donati
Clara Donati graduated in Political Science from Università degli Studi di Firenze. She holds a master’s degree in International Relations from LUISS Guido Carli and a Master in Diplomatic Studies from the SIOI - Società Italiana per l'Organizzazione Internazionale of Rome. She spent a semester abroad in Macau, China and she was an intern at the Consulate General of Italy in San Francisco, USA. She is currently a public policy advisor for Vision&Value and a researcher for Vision Think Tank.
Margherita Curti
Margherita Curti graduated in Political Science from LUISS Guido Carli, where she also got a Master's Degree in International Relations. She holds a Master in Diplomatic Studies from SIOI (Società Italiana per l'Organizzazione Internazionale, Rome). She spent a semester abroad in Jyväskylä, Finland and she was an intern at the Consulate General of Italy in Paris, France.
She is currently a public policy advisor for Vision & Value and a researcher for Vision Think Tank.
Bianca Aletti Montano
Bianca Aletti Montano is a passionate and motivated student of Economics and Business at LUISS Guido Carli in Rome, Italy, with a strong interest in understanding global economic challenges and social issues. Currently, Bianca is expanding her academic experience through an exchange program at Insper University in São Paulo, Brazil, deepening her understanding of economic issues from diverse cultural perspectives. Driven by a commitment to social impact and equipped with a strong analytical mindset, Bianca is eager to continue learning and contributing meaningfully to global economic and social challenges. Bianca is also associate to the think tank VISION and with VISION is pursuing its interest for climate change policies with a focus on cities.

A curious and highly motivated critical thinker, Riccardo holds a Master's Degree from John Cabot University in “Corporate Finance” and a Master's Degree in Law with a focus on EU and Corporate Law, from the University of Salerno and Robert Schuman University in Strasbourg. One of 100 students at the Scuola di Politiche – SdP in 2018. He has a strong experience in Brussels, where he worked in EU policies and anti-trust law, with Regione Campania and De Berti Jacchia Law Firm.
Antonella Camerino
She graduated in Political Science from LUISS Guido Carli University. She holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations and Global Studies from LUISS Guido Carli University. She spent a semester abroad at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in Brussels, Belgium, and at the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya (IDC) in Herzliya, Israel. She worked as intern in several international think tanks focusing on international security, foreign policy and socio-political phenomena. She is currently a Political Advisor and Media Strategist for Vision&Value and a Researcher for Vision Think Tank.
Antonio Negro
Antonio Negro holds a Master's Degree in Political Science from University of Padova and Certifications in Finance and Project Management. He has worked for national and international institutions, such as the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Germany, the Italian Consulate in Liverpool and the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda. Currently in Rome, where he worked for FeBAF (Federazione delle Banche Assicurazioni e Finanza), he is now a consultant for public policy evaluation with Vision & Value and Research Officer at Vision Think Tank.
Alessandra Sannella
Alessandra Sannella is a sociologist of health with a passion for scientific research. Professor of Sociology and Social Policies at the University of Cassino, she is Delegates University for Network of Sustainable Universities (RUS) and Coordinator of the University Committee for Sustainable Development (CASe). She is interested at international migration, health, global health policy and reducing inequalities; is currently interested in the study of phenomena related to sustainable development, artificial intelligence and conflict in the digital society. She has coordinated national and European research projects. Currently member of the Scientific Council of the AIS Section of Sociology of Health and Medicine for the 2020/2022 period. She is the author of numerous publications internationally and nationally. His dream is a cosmopolitan and equality society.
Claudia Saccà
Claudia Saccà graduated in Business Administration. Currently she is studying for a Master’s degree in Business Finance and Law at Università Cattolica, in Milan, and is one of the 40 most promising local administrators under 30 attending an Executive Master in Municipal Administration at the ForsAM - Scuola Pvblica ANCI. She is an activist and a Board Member of ANCI Giovani Sicilia.
Andrea Iannone
As of Nov 2019, Andrea is an MBA candidate at LUISS Business School in Rome Italy. He holds a Master’s Degree in Corporate Finance from John Cabot University. His interests lay in sectors with high social impact as well as cultural industries, since he has a Bachelor's in Film and Fine Arts. After seven years of living and working in Los Angeles, where he worked for The Walt Disney Company among others. He now is based in Rome, IT, and collaborates with Vision's consultancy branch, Vision & Value, in the field of policy evaluation and social innovation.
Maria Fiorella Rotolo
Maria Fiorella Rotolo graduated in Philosophy and History at La Sapienza University of Rome. She obtained a specialization in Philosophical Counseling and a Master in Coaching. She has collaborated with Colombia University in New York. In 2012 she published her first novel “Il Silenzio su se stessi”, Qulture Edizioni. Today she is a teacher in Advanced Training courses for Study Centres and Universities. She deals with HR Management, Organization and Business Management.
Giuseppe Cipolletta
Giuseppe Cipolletta graduated in Political Science from the University of Naples Federico II. He also holds a Master's degree in International Relations from the LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome. During his training he did an internship at the Italian Embassy in Sudan, Khartoum. He is currently public policy consultant for Vision&Value and researcher for Vision Think Tank.

Oscar is working as "Head of the Technical Secretariat" of the Italian Minister of Education and University. More in details, he deals with education, research, innovation and technology transfer policies. Since 2012 to the beginning of 2016 he worked as Policy Manager of the American Chamber of Commerce in Italy, focusing on the internationalization of companies, foreign investments and he collaborated with the organizer of the US Pavilion at Expo Milano 2015.
Fabio Gitto
Gianfilippo Emma
Gianfilippo is a consultant with experience in the publishing sector and in evaluation of public policies. After obtaining his Master's in Political Communication and Public Administration (SDA Bocconi), he worked with FORMEZ, an agency of the Ministry of Public Affairs, on the National Operational Programme “Enhancing Administrative Capacity,” part of the "Convergence Goal" for regional governments.
He is also very active in volunteer networks. He is, in fact, a JADE network alumnus, and wants to help reinforce student entrepreneurship. He was Presidente of JECoMM, the first public relations and marketing junior enterprise in Italy.

Architect specialized in Urban Planning. She graduated in Architecture at "La Sapienza University of Rome" She then completed her studies at the "Gugliemo Marconi Faculty" Master Course "Environmental Planning and Territory" with thesis "Methods for assessing the environmental sustainability of road infrastracture".
Giovanni Esposito
Giovanni undertook his education trough a multidisciplinary oriented path.
He graduated in Political Science at Bologna University.
He sees social sciences applied to politics as a great synthesis of his interests and passions. He is particularly focused on the themes of economic changes process, holding a strong belief that the intersection between sociology, economics and psychology could supply the essential key to understand nowadays reality.

Silvia has a major in Philosophy and a PhD in Business Ethics. She works as Account Manager in the Corporate Education division of the Business School of Politecnico di Milano (MIP). Her interests and activities are focused on managerial education and development, corporate responsibility, innovation competences and the future of work
Stephen Benians
Stephen is a consultant at The Centre (Brussels) and Vision (Rome), managing projects for the European Commission and establishing projects of research and collaboration with thinking communities across Europe. He is an expert in creative communications and in establishing dialogue and policy networks. He has extensive experience in managing and evaluating cultural and political projects.
Sarah Scully
Sarah Scully graduated from Lancaster University with a LLB in Law and Economics. She also holds a masters degree in Economics from University College Dublin and a masters degree in European Studies from LUISS University. She is originally from Dublin, Ireland but is currently based in Rome, Italy. She has spent time working as in corporate finance, market and consultancy before working for Vision. She is currently a Policy Advisor and Consultant for Vision.
