Vision is about to start its brand new project "Internet of Beings" on Wednesday 9th June 6 PM CEST on how the pandemic accelerated a great turn-around of health care systems and medical research. The transformation promises not only to unfold entirely new opportunities and threats for governments and firms, but also to bring the Internet revolution to a phase of full maturity.

The project will be presented by the Vision Team (Francesco Grillo, Giuliana D'Auria, Giulia Torrelli, Giuseppe Cipolletta and Antonio Negro) which is very pluridisciplinary with experiences ranging from political economy to genetics, health economics to computer science.

The meeting will be chaired by Oliver Morton (Briefings Editor The Economist), while the opening remarks will be from Maria Cristina Messa (Italy's Minister of University and Research). The problem setting, objectives and project frame will be discussed by Giuseppe Ippolito (Scientific Director of Spallanzani and advisor to Italy's government for COVID19 policies), Sergio Abrignani (Full professor Università degli Studi di Milano), Jamie Metzl (Technology Futurist and Geopolitical Expert from NYC), Vidya Krishnan (Experienced Medical Writer from India), Ernest Wilson (Former USC Annenberg Dean in Los Angeles) and Stefano Campostrini (Professor Ca' Foscari University in Venice).

The project will gather some of the large industrial partners and a multidisciplinary group (economists, biologists, computer scientists) that Vision is putting together.

As Jamie Metzl wraps up in his last book (HACKING DARWIN):

“It will be a difficult, painful and conflict-ridden process, but we have all need to participate. Fellow humans, let us together begin the conversation”.

This is the fundamental belief that drives Vision and visionaries to invite everybody to a debate which will most likely determine the future of the homo sapiens.
