Although several cities have developed diversified solutions to deal with congestion (enhancing public transport, reserved lanes, cars and bike-sharing), few have successfully solved the problem. Cities face a major challenge in terms of capacity that implies the need to reconsider mobility with a more creative and radical approach, in order to meet the demand for sustainable transport. Investments in smart infrastructure today will determine how well cities are prepared for sustainable growth in the future.
